Shift Supervisor
During my time at Starbucks, I was promoted from a Barista to a Shift Supervisor position. I tended to the day-to-day operations of the store, ran all positions, and performed cash management, conducted the daily pull, oversaw shifts, and attended weekly meetings with management. My primary goals with this job were maintaining a positive work environment, building relationships between Partners, and ensuring customers felt appreciated and welcomed.

Carolyn Caudell Tieger Fellowship

I was selected to represent the Public Affairs Communications (PAC) Program through the Program Promotion position. In this role, I planned and managed events, developed program awareness, and worked alongside the other fellows and the certificate coordinator in order to improve the PAC Program.

Travel Writing in Prague
Study Abroad
During the summer of 2019, I was accepted into a Travel Writing program in Prague, Czech Republic through the Grady College of Mass Communication at UGA. For three weeks, I met with well-known public officials stationed in the city, conducted interviews, completed assignments, and by the program's end, created a final travel writing piece.

Internship
During my internship with the Foster, Hanks, & Ballard, LLC Law Firm, I have served as a paralegal assistant, copied and scanned cases, and performed any tasks or duties delegated to me by the attorneys within the office. I have also been able to sit in on client meetings and attend court.

The Red & Black
Internship
During my time with The Red & Black, I was a News Editor for the News desk. I pitched stories at weekly meetings, collected and conducted interviews with expert sources, attended relevant events, meetings, or workshops, wrote and edited my stories, and saw each story through to their publishment on either the online website or weekly paper edition.

The Reserve at Athens
During my time with The Reserve at Athens, I worked as a Community Assistant within the front office. I answered phone calls, responded to emails, conducted tours of the property, oversaw resident needs, managed move-in/move-out procedures, and worked on-call shifts. I also tended to any tasks designated to me by management or corporate representatives.

October 2016–April 2018
Coffee & Bagels
During my time at Coffee & Bagels, I worked as a barista and trainer for the business. Being located in the Science Learning Center on campus, I learned how to manage extremely busy peak periods while also tending to the needs of cleaning, stocking, and prepping for the shift.

June 2013–July 2017
Cracker Barrel
During my time with this business, I achieved a Par Four status as a server, cross-trained as a hostess, and trained new hires. I tended to opening and closing procedures, assisted in floor management, and helped keep an efficient and positive work environment.
